As part of our pre-production process, we created a short “pilot” film to develop the feature’s overall look, style, and storyline. This resulted in a 27 minute film featuring 15 interviewees talking about their experiences with oppression. The interviews were conducted in various offices and filmed using a home video camera; thus the footage presented is in a raw form. Each interview lasted on average 90-120 minutes. As the pilot was meant to test the film’s concept, we have also included here, with their permission, shortened versions of each person’s interview to provide more in-depth understanding of each person’s story. We hope you find them as inspiring and thought-provoking as we did.
This short film and condensed interviews are free for educational use.
